Description
English: George Square, Glasgow , south side. On the corner of South Hanover Street the McLaren warehouse and repository building of 1922, designed by James Miller , has been conserved with additional storeys, and renamed Lomond House. The adjacent Monteith House at 11 George Square was built around 1863, probably to a design by John Burnet . At 13–14, Olympic House with its main entrances in Queen Street . was designed by James Miller around 1904-05. The equestrian statue is of Prince Albert.
