Description 82nd Airborne troops jump from C-141Bs in 1988.JPEG | Members of the U.S. Army 1st and 2nd Battalions, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division jump from USAF Lockheed C-141B Starlifter aircraft on 1 March 1988. U.S. troops spent two weeks participating in a mobilization of U.S. exercise task force Dragon/Golden Pheasant. U.S. President Ronald Reagan mobilized U.S. forces, consisting of both the 82nd Airborne Division and the 7th Light Infantry Division, to help discourage Nicaraguan forces from entering Honduras. |
