English: The Venus Pudica in the Regional Archaeological Museum in Siracusa , Italy, also known as " Venus Landolina " after his discoverer in 1804, archaeologist Saverio Landolina . Aphrodite is depicted standing, nude save for a richly draped himation which she retains with her left hand in front of her pudenda. Roman copy made in the 2nd century AD after a Greek original.
