English: Athenian ostrakon (piece of pottery inscribed with the name of a politician proposed for exile by popular vote, the so-called " ostracism "). This specimen propose the name of Megacles , who was submitted to the vote in 487 BC. On display in the Ancient Agora Museum in Athens , housed in the Stoa of Attalus .
