Bermuda Garrison
(the second Canadian battalion to serve in Bermuda during the
First World War
, having relieved the
Royal Canadian Regiment
) in place of a regular British Army battalion (the 2nd Battalion of the
Lincolnshire Regiment
) that had proceeded to the
Western Front
. The battalion remained at Bermuda from 12 August, 1915, until 20 May, 1916 before proceeding to the Western Front.
