Село Майя Мегино-Кангаласского района Якутии. Крупное якутское село, население (на 2016) приближается к 10 тысячам жителей. В 1930-2007 годах село было центром Мегино-Кангаласского района (улуса). Населяют село преимущественно якуты. Оно также является малой родиной автора этих снимков, хотя я не был тут с 1993 года, то есть 23 года! Понятно, что с тех пор оно очень изменилось.
