Summary
Description 1998 Ford Fairmont (AU) Ghia sedan, cutaway (2015-01-01) 04.jpg |
English:
Cutaway of a 1998
Ford Fairmont (AU)
Ghia sedan, revealing the interior. Photographed at the Geelong Museum of Motoring and Industry,
North Geelong, Victoria
, Australia. This cutaway was made by Ford Australia apprentices in 1998. The car has been cutaway to reveal the internal structure and functioning. Red edges generally signify that a cut has been made to the vehicle; yellow edges signify structural reinforcements giving the car rigidity for safety. To demonstrate the workings of the engine and driveline, an electric motor is attached to the engine's crankshaft through an 80:1 reduction box.
