- Coat of Arms.
Blazon
- Shield: Azure, the stone block house of El Caney, Cuba, Argent, before a royal palm Proper.
- Crest: From a wreath of the colors Argent and Azure, a cubit arm vested and gauntleted in armor Sable grasping an arrow of the like armed and flitted Gules and a bolo of the first hilted Or.
- Motto: "ONWARD".
Symbolism
- Shield:
- The shield is blue for Infantry.
- The gallant service in Cuba is represented by the blockhouse at El Caney and the royal palm from the coat of arms of that Republic.
- Crest:
- The Regiment saw Indian service in the old frontier days and this is symbolized by the arrow of the crest.
- Likewise the Philippine campaigns are indicated by the bolo.
- The steadfastness of the Regiment is indicated by the iron gauntlet.
- Background:
- The coat of arms was originally approved for the 25th Infantry Regiment on 1921-12-30 .
- It was redesignated for the 25th Armored Infantry Battalion on 1951-05-11 .
