A law professor and former federal prosecutor explains what's going on with the impeachment proceedings in Congress and what's next.

On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, House Democrats issued articles of impeachment of President Donald Trump—focusing on abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
A vote in Congress on these articles is expected to follow soon. The matter, if adopted, will then go to the US Senate.
