Rural district in Ilam province, Iran
Mishkhas Rural District (Persian: دهستان ميش خاص) is in Sivan District of Ilam County, Ilam province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Meydan, transferred from Jafarabad.[3]
At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District) was 9,164 in 1,823 households.[4] There were 9,412 inhabitants in 2,268 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 7,227 in 1,988 households, by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of the new Sivan District.[3] The most populous of its 21 villages was Jafarabad (now a city),[6] with 2,737 people.[2]
