XHPCMQ was awarded in the IFT-4 radio auction of 2017 and came to air on June 3, 2018.

Originally XHPCMQ carried Ultra 92.3 format, but in April 8, 2024 the station flipped to La Ke Buena 92.3 format as an agreement between Ultra Telecom, Radiópolis and ADN Digital Media.
