Add article description

Wide-angle Infinity Display Equipment (WIDE) was the proprietary name for a cross-cockpit collimated display (CCCD), wide-angle visual system for full flight simulators invented in the 1980s by British company Rediffusion at their factory in Crawley, West Sussex.[1] The general design is now in common use in the industry worldwide.[2] Collimated displays deliver improved realism within full flight simulators by making out of the window visuals appear distant.[3]
