When Nobody Sees Us is an upcoming television series starring Mariela Garriga and Maribel Verdú. It is adapted from the Sergio Sarria novel of the same name. It is the first Spanish-produced series announced for Warner Bros.’ streaming service Max.

Premise

Set during the Holy Week celebrations in southern Spain next to an US Army base area, a sergeant in the Civil Guard investigates an unusual suicide of a neighbour. Meanwhile, a US Army special agent has been sent to the military base to find the whereabouts of a missing American soldier.[1]

Cast

Production

The eight-part series was commissioned in June 2023, to be produced by Zeta Studios.[2] It is the first Spanish-produced series announced for Warner Bros.’ streaming service Max.[3] Antonio Asensio, Paloma Molina and Salvador Yagüe are executive producers for Zeta Studios. Miguel Salvat, Antonio Trashorras and Patricia Nieto are executive producers for Warner Bros'.[4]

It is directed by Enrique Urbizu. It has been created by Daniel Corpas and has screenwriting team led by Arturo Ruiz. It is adapted from the Sergio Sarria novel of the same name. Filming began in Madrid in February 2024, with filming locations also including Seville and Andalusia.[5]

The cast is led by Maribel Verdú and Mariela Garriga, with Austin Amelio, Ben Temple and Dani Rovira.[6]
