Tellebang is a rural locality in the North Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2021 census, Tellebang had a population of 60 people.[1]

History

Tellebang State School opened on 16 February 1931 and closed on 31 December 1965.[3] It was on a triangular site south of the intersection of the Burnett Highway and Turners Road (25.04234°S 151.23207°E / -25.04234; 151.23207 (Tellebang State School (former))).[4][5] A sign facing the highway marks the site.[6]

Demographics

In the 2016 census Tellebang had a population of 63 people.[7]

In the 2021 census, Tellebang had a population of 60 people.[1]
