Early and personal life

Skylar was born and raised in the Canary Island of Tenerife, Spain, to his father Hassan Yassin, an Arab of Sierraleonian-Lebanese origin, and his mother Gwen Skylar, English born in Yorkshire.[1]

He worked creating surfboards from the age of 15 after leaving high school.[2] He attempted to enlist as a reservist in the British Army in 2016, but failed medical tests after a car accident that caused him to suffer a concussion.
