Background

It was established on 1 June 1945.[2] Vesna Vučković is the acting president of the court.[3][lower-alpha 1]

Vesna Medenica, a former president of the court, stated that procedures at the court take an average of 50 days.[7]

Notes

  1. Vesna Vučković was appointed acting president in 2021, but as of 17 January 2023, had yet to obtain the confidence of enough other judges of the court to serve a full term as president.[4][5][8]
