It was announced that Cuarzo, a fillial of the French group, would take on the job on the following seasons in orther to preserve the product.[2]

Cast

The contestants for this season are being announced through different programs on the network.[5] All original 17 announced contestants where spotted in the Madrid Barajas Airport leaving for Honduras at March 3.[6] On the first live show, a twist was announced where two new "returning contestants" are expected to join the game at a later day. Returning contestants Kiko Jiménez and Laura Matamoros joined the game in the first Debate.[7] Due to the lopsided results in all reward challenges, a tribe swap was announced by production during the third gala. Due to Zayra being evacuated, Marieta Díaz was announced to enter the game in her place during the fourth gala. After Carmen's quit, Debate panelist Nagore Robles was offered her spot, but she declined because she wants to compete from the get-go. She was offered a spot next season. To fill the vacancy left by Carmen, a repechage between the first five eliminated contestants was held. Mario rejected the chance to go back, and the four remaining evictees (Kike, Laura, Lorena & Rocío) went through a public voting to go back in the game. Laura won and rejoined into the Blue tribe.
