Something Is Killing the Children is an upcoming American horror television series made for Netflix.[1][2] It is an adaptation of the comic book Something Is Killing the Children by James Tynion IV[3][4] which began publishing in 2019.[5][6][7][8][9][10]

Synopsis

The series centers on a small town plagued by monsters that eat children. A mysterious young woman by the name of Erica Slaughter has the powers to combat the creatures.

Production

In 2021, Boom! Studios announced the project to be in development for Netflix.[11][12] In February 2023, it was announced that Dark and 1899 creators Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese had been hired to develop the adaptation after Mike Flanagan had departed, owing to creative differences.[13]
