In 2015, Sandy announced on social media that she would retire after the release of her fifth album Hob (Love), citing personal and health reasons.^[1] Two years later, in December 2017, Sandy returned with the song "Maghnatis" (Magnetic) under Glitch Records in collaboration with Pause Production, announcing them as her new music label.^[2] She released her sixth album, Ĕtnin fi wahda, in January 2020. This album, in which she collaborated with new producers and poets such as Mido Munib, contained a song produced and written by Hussein herself.^[3] As an actress, Sandy has appeared in the films Jimm's Plan (2014)^[4] and Live Your Life (2019).^[5]
