Hamulić started his professional career at Dainava, who sent him on loan to Sūduva and Stal Mielec in 2022. In 2023, he moved to Toulouse via Stal Mielec, and was sent on loan to Vitesse later that year and to Lokomotiv Moscow in 2024.

Hamulić made his senior international debut for Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2023.

Club career

Early career

Hamulić started playing football at a local club Alphense Boys, before joining the youth academy of Go Ahead Eagles in 2019. A year later, he switched to Quick Boys' youth setup. In February 2021, he signed with Lithuanian team Dainava, with whom he made his professional debut and scored his first professional goal. In March 2022, he was loaned to Sūduva until the end of season.[2]

In July, he was loaned to the Polish side Stal Mielec.[3]

Toulouse

In January 2023, Hamulić was bought out by Stal Mielec to then be immediately transferred to French outfit Toulouse for an undisclosed fee.[4] He made his official debut for the team in a Coupe de France game against Reims on 8 February.[5] Two weeks later, he made his league debut against Marseille.[6] He won his first trophy with the club on 29 April, by beating Nantes in the Coupe de France final.[7]

In July, he was sent on a season-long loan to Vitesse.[8] The agreement was terminated in January.

On 14 May 2023, Hamulić expressed a "firm refusal" to participate in a Ligue 1 match against Nantes due to the game being a part of a league-wide campaign against homophobia, with team uniforms displaying a rainbow-themed decoration.[9]

In January 2024, he was loaned to Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow for the remainder of campaign.[10]

International career

As a dual Dutch-Bosnian national, Hamulić was eligible to play for the national team of both countries. Hamulić announced about his intention to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina internationally in January 2023.[11]

In June 2023, Hamulić received his first senior squad call-up for UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers against Portugal and Luxembourg.[12] He debuted against the former on 17 June.[13]
