Durga Raj Dhamala (Nepali: दुर्गा राज धमला), known as Rishi Dhamala (Nepali: ऋषि धमला), is a Nepalese journalist and the founder of a Nepali journalist association, Reporter's Club Nepal.[1] Dhamala works for several other media outlets in Nepal.[2][3] He hosts the Nepal Bani Network's Bani Bahas and writes features in newspapers,[4] and also edits his own online newsportals.[5][6]

Controversies

On 3 February 2009, Dhamala was arrested by the Nepalese police for links with a terrorist outfit, Ranvir Sena.[7][8][9] He was released on 13 April by the Appellate Court Patan.[10]
