English rugby league footballer and coach


Richard Pell (17 October 1966[1]) is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s, and coached in the 2000s and 2010s. He played at club level for Wakefield Trinity, Doncaster (two spells), and Hunslet, as a prop, and coached at club level for Lock Lane ARLFC (in Castleford), Castleford Tigers (Under-18s, and Assistant Reserve Grade Coach under Chris Chester),[2] Wakefield Trinity (Under-18s), and Gateshead Thunder,[3] he was a Commercial Manager at The Coca-Cola Company, Head of Talent Identification at Huddersfield Giants,[4] Director of Rugby at Castleford RUFC,[5] and since 2013 is the General Manager at Castleford Tigers.[6]
