Ragna Crimson (Japanese: ラグナクリムゾン, Hepburn: Raguna Kurimuzon) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Daiki Kobayashi. It has been serialized in Square Enix's Monthly Gangan Joker since March 2017, with its chapters collected in 13 tankōbon volumes as of November 2023. An anime television series adaptation produced by Silver Link aired from October 2023 to March 2024.

Manga

Ragna Crimson is written and illustrated by Daiki Kobayashi. The series began in Square Enix's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Gangan Joker since March 22, 2017.[8] Square Enix has collected its chapters into individual tankōbon volumes. The first volume was released on October 21, 2017.[9] As of November 21, 2023, 13 volumes have been released.[10]

In North America, the series is licensed for English release by Square Enix Manga & Books imprint.[1]

Anime

An anime television series adaptation was announced on March 19, 2022.[35] It is produced by Silver Link and directed by Ken Takahashi, with scripts written by Deko Akao, character designs handled by Shinpei Aoki, and music composed by Kōji Fujimoto and Osamu Sasaki.[2][36] The two consecutive-cour series aired from October 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024, on Tokyo MX and other networks.[3][37][lower-alpha 1] The first opening theme song is "Roar", performed by Ulma Sound Junction,[5] while the first ending theme is "Rinkaku" (鱗角), performed by Watashi Kobayashi.[39] The second opening theme song is "Kannōsei Liberation" (感脳性リベレーション, Cerebral Liberation), performed by saji,[40] and the second ending theme song is "Sora ni Shirube yū" (空に標結う), performed again by Watashi Kobayashi.[41]

At Anime Expo 2022, Sentai Filmworks announced that they licensed the series outside of Asia.[42] Muse Communication has licensed the series for South Asia and Southeast Asia.[43]
