City in North Khorasan province, Iran


Qazi (Persian: قاضي)[lower-alpha 1] is a city in, and the capital of, Samalqan District of Samalqan County, North Khorasan province, Iran.[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Qazi Rural District (formerly Samalqan Rural District).[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,370 in 674 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,956 people in 792 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,428 people in 817 households.[2]
