Subfamily of fishes


Pellonulinae is a subfamily of freshwater herrings belonging to the family Clupeidae.[2][3] Extant species are found in Asia,[4] Africa[5] and Australia,[6] and members of the family occurred in North America in the Eocene.[7][1]
