Nail Polish is a Pakistani drama serial aired on A-Plus Entertainment. It is directed by Kaleem Rajput and produced by Abid Hassan. The debuting Rahma Ali is featured in the lead role, while Humaira Ali, Usman Peerzada, Abdullah Ejaz and Tehseen Wajahat Chishti portray supporting roles. The drama started airing on 3 March 2011 and ended on 12 May 2011. It was a weekly television serial that airs every Thursday.

Plot

Sonia (Rahma Ali) is a college student hailing from a humble family in the small town of Khaddepur. Her life takes a turn when she becomes entangled in a car accident involving Naveed (Abdullah Ijaz), the chauffeur of the renowned fashion designer Nafisa Mehboob (Humaira Ali). Following the incident, Nafisa instructs Naveed to apologize to Sonia. Intrigued by Nafisa's profession, Sonia aspires to work at her beauty parlor.

Despite Sonia's initially carefree and pleasure-seeking demeanor, her world takes a drastic turn when she uncovers the shocking truth that the people she believed to be her parents are not biologically related to her. It dawns on her that the woman who raised her is not her birth mother but rather took her from a hospital. This revelation shatters Sonia's contented life, leading her to rebel against her adoptive mother.

In an attempt to break free from her disrupted reality, Sonia immerses herself in the controversial world of the fashion industry, aspiring to carve a niche for herself as an emerging model.

The drama is directed by Kaleem Rajput and is produced by Abid Hassan. The official title track of the drama is sung by Sam and Tehseen Wajahat Chishti, who is also working in the drama as Goshe Pehlwan.[1]
