Swiss journalist (born 1981)

Maurine Mercier (born 1981[1] in Lausanne) is a Swiss journalist. In 2023, she was awarded the 2023 Swiss Press Award[2] and the Bayeux Calvados-Normandiw Award.[3][4][5]

Mercier studied at the Geneva Graduate Institute.[6] She was a reporter for La Télé. In 2012, she joined Radio Télévision Suisse.[7] From 2016 to 2022, she was a foreign correspondent in North Africa.[1][8][9][10]

She is Ukraine correspondent for Radio Télévision Suisse,[11][12] France Inter,[13][14] TV5 Monde and RTBF. She is based in Kyiv.[15]
