Distribution

This species is distributed in the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean Sea and the Lesser Antilles; in the Atlantic Ocean from North Carolina to Northern Brazil.[citation needed]

Description

The shell size varies between 20 mm and 75 mm.[citation needed]

The maximum recorded shell length is 60 mm.[2]

Habitat

Minimum recorded depth is 0 m.[2] Maximum recorded depth is 100 m.[2]
