Malladi Krishna Rao (born 6 June 1964) is a former member of the Puducherry legislative assembly representing Yanam constituency. He was a former Minister for Health, Tourism, Irrigation, Civil Aviation, Sports & Fisheries, Arts & Culture for the Goverment of Puducherry.[1] He stood twice as an Independent candidate in 1996 and 2001 and twice as an Indian National Congress candidate in the Pudicherry union territory elections.[2] He is the first Yanam citizen to become the minister in Government of Puducherry in 2006.

He was awarded as the Best Member of the Legislative Assembly Award twice from the Lieutenant Governor and Chief Minister of Puducherry. Malladi is a key member in Puducherry politics and neighbouring districts of Andhra Pradesh.[3]
