Joshua Quarshie (born 26 July 2004) is a German professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for 2. Bundesliga club Fortuna Düsseldorf, on loan from TSG Hoffenheim.

Club career

Quarshie is a youth product of Schalke 04, Fortuna Düsseldorf and Rot-Weiss Essen.[1] On 16 July 2022, he transferred to TSG Hoffenheim, where he was originally assigned to their reserves.[2] He made his senior and professional debut as a late substitute in a 2–1 Bundesliga loss to Wolfsburg on 9 November 2022.[3]

In August 2023, Quarshie was officially moved to TSG Hoffenheim's first squad.[4]

On 29 January 2024, Quarshie returned to his former youth club Fortuna Düsseldorf on loan until 30 June 2025.[5]

International career

Born in Germany, Quarshie is of Ghanaian descent.[6] He is a youth international for Germany, having played up to the Germany U19s.[7]
