Jin Nakamura (中村仁, Nakamura Jin, born 1 February 2005) is a Japanese racing driver currently competing in Super GT and Super Formula Lights. He was runner up in the 2023 F4 Japanese Championship[1] He is also part of the Toyota Gazoo Racing Driver Challenge Program.[2]

Career

Formula 4

Nakamura made his formula debut in 2022 F4 Japanese Championship with TGR-DC Racing School. He did on to win a race and have 2 podiums.[3] Nakamura continues to compete in the series for 2023, where he claimed runners up behind of the eventual champion Rikuto Kobayashi & ahead of Honda's Yusuke Mitsui. He racked up couple of wins and podiums. Nakamura, and Kobayashi took part in WEC Challenge Program training session for young drivers has been announced for the 2023 Le Mans 24 Hours. Both participated and experience firsthand how WEC drivers and engineers take on the challenge of Le Mans.[4]

Super Formula Lights

Nakamura and Rikuto Kobayashi will step up together to Super Formula Lights with TOM'S.[5]

Super GT

Nakamura also will make his debut to compete in Super GT - GT300 with apr, as he replaces Koki Saga to partner Kazuto Kotaka and Yuki Nemoto.[6]
