James Anthony Rispoli (born February 6, 1947)[1] is a former Assistant Secretary of Energy for Environmental Management who served for three and a half years under the administration of President George W. Bush; he was unanimously confirmed by the Senate in July 2005. and resigned in late November 2008. His position was occasionally called cleanup czar in the press.[2][3]
