This article is about the Asteraceae genus. It is not to be confused with the Berberidaceae genus Gymnospermium or the non-flowering seed plants Gymnospermae.
Gymnosperma[3] is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae.[4][5][6][7] The only known species is Gymnosperma glutinosum, also known as gumhead, which is native to Mexico, Guatemala, and the southwestern United States (Arizona, New Mexico, Texas).[1][8][9]
