Great Nephew
British-bred Thoroughbred racehorse (1963–1986)
Great Nephew (1963 – 31 May 1986) was a British thoroughbred who became a champion miler in France. He was also a very successful sire, producing two Derby winners.[1] Great Nephew was trained as a two-year-old and for part of the following season by Jack Jarvis. After finishing second in the 2000 Guineas, he was transferred to France to be trained by Etienne Pollet.
