The Governors Village is a 450-acre (180-hectare) New Urbanism neighborhood and census-designated place (CDP) in Chatham County, North Carolina, United States,[4] with an address of Chapel Hill. It was first listed as a CDP in the 2020 census with a population of 1,512.[5]
Governors Village consists of four residential home neighborhoods (Governors Village, Governors Park, Governors Forest, Governors Lake), 160 townhomes (Governors Village and Governors Lake Townes), 242 apartments (Camden Governors Village), and multiple commercial buildings.
Governors Village is located directly across the street from the main entrance to Governors Club, a 1,600-acre (650-hectare) gated community with a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course with over 1,200 homes.
