Goldasht (Persian: گلدشت); formerly, Qaleh Shah (قلعه شاه), also Romanized as Qal‘eh Shāh, Qal‘eh-ye Shāh, and Ghalehshah ("Castle of the King"); also known as Shahrak-i Imam (شهرک امام) after the Iranian Revolution ("City of the Imam") in honor of Ayatollah Khomeini,[3] is a city in the Central District of Najafabad County, Isfahan province, Iran.
At the 2006 census, its population was 22,693 in 5,830 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 23,192 people in 6,686 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 25,235 people in 7,582 households.[2]
