Rural district in Fars province, Iran


Eshkanan Rural District (Persian: دهستان اشكنان)[3] is in Eshkanan District of Lamerd County, Fars province, Iran.[4] It is administered from the city of Eshkanan.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 3,813 in 829 households.[6] There were 4,183 inhabitants in 1,011 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 4,138 in 1,089 households. The most populous of its 22 villages was Lavar Khesht, with 1,163 people.[2]
