Elie Rizk (born Baltimore, Maryland) is a Lebanese–American songwriter and record producer. He has been credited with songwriting work on commercially successful releases performed by Diplo, Keshi, Jessie Murph, Renee Rapp, mazie, Bella Poarch, Sub Urban, among others.[1][2]

Career

In 2020, he received the Abe Olman Memorial ASCAP Scholarship for excellence in songwriting[3][4] and after graduating from NYU Steinhardt Master of Business program in 2020, Rizk founded Good Boy Records (Virgin/Universal) signing mazie.[5][6] Rizk executive produced mazie's first EP "The Rainbow Cassette" which included single "dumb dumb" which was featured in a trailer for the Netflix movie Do Revenge. The exposure from the trailer helped "dumb dumb" (RIAA Certified Gold) go viral on TikTok where it accumulated over 28 billion views. In 2024, "dumb dumb" was featured in an UberEATs Super Bowl Commercial.

In 2021, Rizk started producing the bulk of Bella Poarch's (Warner) music with Sub Urban. The first song they released for her "Build a Bitch".[7] The song was awarded platinum certifications by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and Music Canada (MC) in the United States and Canada, respectively. On the Billboard Hot 100, "Build a Bitch" debuted at number 58 on the week ending May 29, 2021. The song reached its peak position of 56 two weeks later. The music video received nominations for Best Visual Effects at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards, for Best Pop Video – International at the 2021 UK Music Video Awards, and Best Music Video at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards The second single for Bella Poarch "Inferno" (RIAA Certified Gold) followed shortly after. In April 2023, Rizk retroactively paid every single songwriter that had ever worked on a Good Boy Record's song and was featured in Billboard along with other label including Facet Records and The Other Songs. July 21, 2023, Rizk coproduced Diplo's single "Heartbroken" ft Jessie Murph and Polo G.[8] The single spent 18 weeks at US Mainstream Top 40 (Billboard). Reached a peak of 64 US Billboard Hot 100.
