Doug Kraner (died April 4, 2016)[1] was an American production designer in the film industry. He was the co-production designer[2] (with Richard Berg)[3] for Gotham[4][5][6] (2014).[7] He was an Emmy-nominee[8] in the category of Outstanding Art Direction for a Limited Series/Special[9] for his set decoration on “Little Gloria……Happy at Last”[10] (1983)[11] and Art Directors Guild.[12] Kraner's set designer career began in 1981 with My Dinner with Andre.[13] His works include: Lean on Me, the original Uncle Buck,[14] the beach house in Sleeping with the Enemy[15] and No Place Like Home.[16] He has an MFA degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst[17] in Scene Design.[18] He was honored by Oscars in Memoriam in 2017.[19] ....
