Dheekshith Shetty is an Indian film and television actor who predominantly works in Kannada and Telugu films. He is widely known for Dia (2020), Dasara (2023) and Blink (2024) and the TV-show Naagini. He is also known for his experimentational roles and movies.[2]

Career

Dheekshith started his career with the soap opera Preethi Endarenu and Sakshi in 2016 and rose to fame with Naagini alongside Deepika Das.[3] He also participated in the reality show Dance Karnataka Dance and emerged as the winner alongside Deepika Das.[4]

He made his feature film debut with the 2020 Kannada film Dia which put him in the spotlight with appreciations from critics and audience.[5] He also appeared in few Kannada short films in 2022.[6] He then made his Telugu debut with Mugguru Monagallu and then starred in The rose villa. However his breakthrough in Telugu was through Dasara alongside Nani and Keerthy Suresh.[7][8] He also appeared in the Anthology Meet Cute backed by Nani.[9][10] His next release came in 2024 with KTM which opened to mixed reviews but Shetty's performance was appreciated.[11] The next release came within a month through Blink which was an experimental film with story of Oedipus which opened to glowing reviews.[12][13]
