Dasht-e Abbas (Persian: دشت عباس)[lower-alpha 1] is a village in Dasht-e Abbas Rural District of Dasht-e Abbas District, Dehloran County, Ilam province, Iran, serving as capital of both the district[4] and the rural district.[5]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 144 in 27 households, when it was in Musian District.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 394 people in 47 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 295 people in 74 households.[2]
In March 2017, Abu Ghoveyr and Dasht-e Abbas Rural Districts were transferred from Musian District to establish Dasht-e Abbas District. At the same time, Dalpari Rural District was established in Musian District.[4]
