Extinct genus of mammals

Damalops is an extinct genus of Alcelaphinae. It lived during the Pliocene and Pleistocene in southern Asia, where the species Damalops palaeindicus is known from the Siwaliks in the northern part of the Indian Subcontinent.[1]
