Business school of the University of Alabama at Birmingham


The Collat School of Business is the business school of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The school has an enrollment of more than 3,000 students including undergraduate, graduate and other professional programs as of Fall 2023.[1] It is the first named school of the University of Alabama at Birmingham in honor of Charles and Patsy Collat after donating $25 million in gifts and pledges.[2] The school is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

Programs

The Collat School of Business offered undergraduate BS programs with majors in Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resource Management, Industrial Distribution, Information Systems, Management, Marketing and several minors in multiple business discipline. The school offered graduate programs including an MBA, Master of Accounting (MAcc), and a MS in Management Information Systems. In addition, Collat also offered certificates, professional education, and online programs in undergraduate and graduate.[3]

Rankings

The school was ranked 103th overall by the U.S. News & World Report, 2023[4] in the undergraduate business programs. It was also "Unranked" overall in MBA programs and 98th on Part-Time MBA by the U.S. News & World Report, 2024.[5]
