International basketball competition


The 2024 FIBA U18 EuroBasket will be the 39th edition of the European basketball championship for men's national under-18 teams. The tournament will be played in Tampere, Finland, from 27 July to 4 August 2024. This is also the qualifying tournament for FIBA Europe in the 2025 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup in Switzerland joining the automatically qualified host Switzerland.[1]

Participating teams

First round

The draw of the first round was held on 6 February 2024 in Freising, Germany.[2][3]

In the first round, the teams were drawn into four groups of four. All teams advance to the playoffs.
