2023 IIHF World Championship Division III

International ice hockey tournament


The 2023 IIHF World Championship Division III were two international ice hockey tournaments run by the International Ice Hockey Federation.[1]

The Group A tournament was held in Cape Town, South Africa from 17 to 23 April and the Group B tournament in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina from 27 February to 5 March 2023.

Chinese Taipei were promoted after winning Group A, with North Korea relegated after withdrawing before the tournament.[2] Kyrgyzstan won the Group B tournament and got promoted, while Malaysia got relegated.[3]
