The 1922 Argentine Primera División was the 31st season of top-flight football in Argentina. Huracán won its second consecutive championship, while Independiente obtained its first title, the Asociación Amateurs de Football championship.

- From 1921 to 1925 there were two teams called "Platense" due to an internal conflict in the lists of candidates for president of the institution. Current Club Atlético Platense played at the dissident Asociación Amateur and the other squad (known as "Platense II") played in the Asociación Argentina.
