1916 Fordham Maroon football team

American college football season

The 1916 Fordham Maroon football team was an American football team that represented Fordham University as an independent during the 1916 college football season. Under first-year head coach Frank Gargan, Fordham finished with a 6-1–1 record.[1] The game that is listed against "Georgetown" does not appear in the sports reference's 1916 georgetown football schedule, so one can infer that the game was actually played against the Georgetown JV/Freshmen Team.[2]
