Battalion/Squadron/Company

This template currently depicts Battalions and Squadrons as synonomous. While this is true in some armies, in others (such as the British Army), the Squadron is synonomous with the Company. Should the template be changed to reflect this? MartinMcCann 10:07, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

Pair

There should be a pair here (like Canadian fireteams, or a sniper pair - shooter and spotter) 70.51.11.224 (talk) 06:59, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

individual

an individual combatant is the smallest military unit. Everything is based around this unit. (until replaced by robots) 70.51.11.224 (talk) 07:01, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Necessary

Is this template necessary, it seems to have all the information the "Chain of Command" box has. We don't really need two do we?--$1LENCE D00600D (talk) 04:57, 29 June 2011 (UTC)

Symbology

This table attempts to display current NATO unit symbology, but is incorrect. It displays a single dot for a fireteam, which is incorrect. A circle with a line through it, as seen in the information on the page on Military Organization, is the correct symbol. This chart is actually wrong all the way through. I think it should be deleted or corrected with a current military manual.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.111.181.124 (talk) 22:57, 23 September 2015 (UTC)

Chalk

The page for chalk has issues, but it ought to be included under the temporary category. I'm going to add it, and refine the chalk page in the near future Glazerr (talk) 19:53, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
