Talusan, officially the Municipality of Talusan (Cebuano: Lungsod sa Talusan; Chavacano: Municipalidad de Talusan; Tagalog: Bayan ng Talusan), is a 5th class municipality in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 27,873 people.[3]

The municipality is located in the central part of Olutanga Island.

The Municipality of Talusan will be the pilot area of the country and Southeast Asia’s first hydrogen power plant to power the off-grid areas of Olutanga group of islands.

The power plant will be developed by the French-company Hydrogen de France (HDF) Energy and will be fully-operational by 2027. [18]
