<i>Placolepis</i>

Placolepis is an extinct genus of phyllolepid placoderm first discovered in New South Wales.[1] Placolepis was the most widespread phyllolepid genus, with fossils found in Australia, Turkey, Venezuela and Antarctica.[2]
